After you download

1
Install
Open the downloaded disk image and drag Avenrail into your Applications folder.
2
Open it the first time
Open Avenrail from Applications. Avenrail isn't notarized by Apple yet, so macOS asks once: close the warning, go to System Settings › Privacy & Security, and click Open Anyway. Later launches and updates open directly. Prefer Terminal? Run:xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Avenrail.app
3
Start a session
Sign in to an agent you already use — for example claude auth login or codex login — then open a project in Avenrail and describe the work.

Requirements: a Mac with Apple Silicon or Intel, and at least one supported coding agent installed and signed in.

Updates: Avenrail updates itself. Every update is signed, and packages that don't match the signature are refused.
